I’m pleased to support Granville Anderson for Regional Councillor in Wards 1 and 2.
Granville’s record speaks for itself. He has served as MPP for Durham, as a local school board trustee, and served several terms as a Clarington Regional Councillor. For decades, Granville has played a key role in nearly every major development in our community while also prioritizing teamwork.
Beyond his strong resume, I’m voting for Granville because of his genuine care for Clarington. He has attended hundreds — if not thousands — of local events over the years. Granville was a leader in supporting the budget for the South Bowmanville Sports Complex, expansion of Broadband in rural areas to meet the Covid-19 challenges of conducting business and learning online, expanded cycle trails to meet climate change targets, and funded the development of a new cricket pitch to recognize the diversity in recreational infrastructure. As MPP, Durham Region is now benefiting from the completion of the 407 extension, the expansion of Bowmanville Hospital, and the creation of Hospice Bowmanville. Granville’s leadership was also recognized when he was appointed the Deputy Mayor of Clarington.
